The bright illustrations and the large text make it easy for children to start getting familiar with colors, numbers, letters and shapes!
This means that from a young age, children will already start to recognize them and will get a head start when they start kindergarten or elementary school. The ideal age range for kids board books is infant or baby to 4 years old. After the age of 4 or 5, children seek greater depth to storytelling and characters, more in line with the types of stories found in picture books.
